• Arno Tausch, the genre, and the concept of a Festschrift and the 15 authors in four sections who honored him are presented in this introduction chapter. The life and career of Arno Tausch as an Austrian diplomat, as an academic, and as a prolific author and commentator spanning over 50 years are introduced.
