The author refers to previous Polish publications underlining the importance of value problems for the development of human beings and for the education of adolescents. On this background she presents the outcomes of her own researches carried out among students of secondary schools in Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski... The researches resulted in quite a number of new outcomes compared to the previous diagnosis. Though pro-social values still dominate the role of family values has decreased. On the other hand the ranking of values connected with executive power, being in authority has increased.
