• This introduction defines and outlines the nature of the core major concepts and principles of institutional and evolutionary political economy, and provides a summary of the chapters which apply the principles to core global problems. We outline the nature of the chapters on the history and the contemporary concepts and principles. Then we summarise the chapters on major global problems including the coronacrisis, climate change, corruption, AI and robotics, policy and governance, financial instability and crises, terrorism and the war on terrorism, AIDS-HIV plus love and the nurturance gap.
