This Vol offers case studies chronicling the immigration histories & integration experiences of six ethnic minority groups into Dutch society: Moluccans, Surinamese, Antilleans, southern Europeans, Turks, & Moroccans. Focus is on whether the Netherlands is actually the highly successful case of immigrant integration that it has been touted as being, particularly when aspects besides socioeconomic integration, ie, cultural integration are considered. Differences & similarities in the immigration of these different groups are identified, & comparisons made to their immigration experiences in other societies. The book's 6 Chpts (each with Notes) are bounded by an Introduction & Conclusion by the editors. 7 Tables, 1 Appendix, 454 References. K. Hyatt Stewart
