  • Standards and instruments exist in International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to establish a route of utilization of evaluation results and provide Management and the Executive Board with the opportunity to monitor follow-up on recommendations. These instruments were introduced in 1999 for the first time and later refined with the introduction of the Evaluation Policy and its revision. In the ten years from 2006 to 2016, IFAD Management reported that it had received more than 1,900 recommendations from Independent Office of Evaluation (IOE) stemming from its evaluations. The President’s Report on the Implementation Status of Evaluation Recommendations and Management Actions (PRISMA) covered four corporate-level evaluations (CLE), 12 country-level evaluations and nine project-level evaluations. The CLEs dealt with: fragile states and situations; replenishments; supervision; and efficiency. The PRISMA is the final step in a formal management response system at IFAD.
