This paper describes the methods for estimation the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic waves in Wi-Fi communications. Using mathematical relationships
below, an algorithm was built for estimating the degree of attenuation of radio waves in the
urban environment. Considered algorithm ignores natural interference caused by the propagation of electromagnetic waves (including broadband). The program was created for solving
the problem of wave propagation. The testing software were hold. The system requirements
for the operation of this software were present.
