• Retired manager, researcher-writer, librarian, documentalist, translator. He was born on September 21, 1915 in the north-western part of Bulgaria, in the town of Razgrad (Hezargrad), the center of the Deliorman region. He completed his primary and middle school education there. Later, he came to Turkey and studied in Adana and Balıkesir Male Teachers’ School. During his first teaching in Erzurum, he entered Ankara Gazi Education Institute in the summer of the same year and studied Turkish literature for two years. He completed his military service as a reserve officer during the Second World War. He was assigned to Kars Sarıkamış Middle School as a Turkish teacher after he was discharged from the army in 1943. He was appointed to Ankara during the school year of 1943-1944.
