[Im Beitrag wird] der Blick auf Maßnahmen der Erwachsenenbildung gerichtet. Es wird das Projekt LiA ("Lernen im Arbeitsalltag") vorgestellt, welches das Ziel verfolgt, ältere Arbeitnehmer ganzheitlich zu fördern und Selbstwirksamkeit, Stressmanagement und Gesundheit sowie kognitive und metakognitive Kompetenzen der Teilnehmer zu verbessern. Analysing the situation of employees aged 50 and more years, it is postulated that programs for elderly employees are required which do not only focus on new technologies. Rather, holistic concepts are necessary. Further education and training are needed which strengthen the participants' occupational self-efficacy, help to cope with stress, and contain motoric, cognitive, and metacognitive training. Against this background, the concept "Learning while Working" ("Lernen im Arbeitsalltag", LiA) is presented. It contains a set of closely interlinked modules: an occupational-biographical competence module, psychomotoric training, training for stress management, cognitive, and metacognitive training. All modules contain psycho-educational explanations as well as extensive practice elements. First evaluation results are encouraging: The training enjoys a high acceptance among the participants. Their self-efficacy, well-being, and stress management skills increased and their cognitive performance improved. In view of these results, the necessity is discussed to further enhance, establish and implement training programs like LiA. (DIPF/Orig.).
