Beschreibungen/Notizen
Ormond focuses on the poem 'Akbar's Dream', a collaboration between Alfred Tennyson and Benjamin Jowett which subject centers in the 16th century Mughal emperor, Akbar who ruled with conspicious success from 1556 to 1605 and became one of the world's greatest military leaders, ruling over much of India, together with what now Pakistan, and Bangladesh and parts of Afghanistan. He states that 'Akbar's Dream' represents the ideas and inspiration of three men, Tennyson, Joweti and Ilallam. However, there is much that is pure Tennyson.
