Highlights • Interoceptive exposure (IE) tasks targeting specific AS-social concerns were examined. • IE tasks induced significantly more intense sensations compared to the control task. • Specific IE tasks for eliciting blushing, sweating, and trembling are identified. • Combined IE and social task did not produce greater anxiety than the social task only.
