Sorry, there is no abstract. Read the first few lines of the text instead! Depending on their biology, nature of prey and type of habitat, animal species differ in their foraging techniques. Some species may employ special tactics in order to increase their feeding efficiency and to exploit the available prey. However, any such special foraging techniques have not been observed among the Strepsirrhini, except for the 'search tactics' in Daubentonia madagascariensis where the animals tap wood to find food inside [Erickson, 1995]. In this paper, we report a foraging technique employed by slender loris (Loris lydekkerianus malabaricus) not so far observed among this suborder of Primates.
