Responds to Senyk's (2002) series of complaints against the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Her grievances are recapped & addressed in great detail. Of some note is the fact that she provides no evidence to support her accusations of neo-Nazism & fascism & her attack on Metropolitan Andrei (Sheptyts'kyi). Recurring throughout Senyk's work is disapproval of the link between the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church & Ukrainian nationalism; however, it is maintained that she has an incomplete understanding of the nature of church & society in Eastern Europe & tries to impose an alien form of the church-state relationship. Exception is then taken with her treatment of the Greek Catholic Church's persecution by the Soviet state & Metropolitan Andrei's & the Moscow Patriarchate's alleged complicity in it. J. Zendejas
