Susan Brownmiller's most recent book, 'In our time: memoir of a revolution' (2000) is an account of a period of women's history that shook the foundations of patriarchy. It tells of how women radically transformed western, particularly American, society and how the women's movement changed the way people live today. This interview coincided with her book launch. The book contains a combination of the anger, radical activism, the internal factions and the feminist battles won and lost in areas such as abortion and sexual harassment. Her greatest contribution to the women's movement was her book 'Against our will' which radically changed the construction of rape. (Quotes from original text)
