Houts presents an obituary for soldier and psychologist Leonard Krasner, who died on November 28, 2007. Krasner was instrumental in founding the Association for the Advancement of Behavior Therapy and gladly accepted its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002. He was also a founder of Section III of Division 12 of the American Psychological Association, which has since become the Society for the Science of Clinical Psychology. Throughout the late 1960s and into the 1980s, he co-edited Pergamon's book series in psychology and shepherded scores of books to publication.
