• In this study, the transdermal penetration of curcumin microneedles is investigated, in order to solve the clinical limitation of curcumin and provide a certain research basis for the transdermal preparation of poorly water-soluble drugs. 2 Materials and methods 2.1Animals Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) mice % specific pathogen free (SPF) grade, 18 -22 g, all male, animal production license SCXK ( Sichuan) 2015-030 & were provided by the Institute of Faboratory Animals, Sichuan Academy of Medical Sciences. 2.2 Drugs and reagents Curcumin solid dispersion microneedles ( self-made ) , curcumin ( analytically pure, Chengdu Kelong Chemical Co. , Ftd. ) , curcumin (chromatographically pure, 98% purity, Shanghai Yuanye Biological Technology Co. , Ftd. ) , polyethylene glycol 6000 ( PEG 6000, analytically pure, Chengdu Kelong Chemical Co. , Ftd. ) , block polyether F68 ( Poloxamer 188, Shanghai Yuanye Biological Technology Co. , Ftd. ) , polyvinylpyrrolidone K30 ( PVP K30, analytically pure, Chengdu Kelong Chemical Co. , Ftd. ) , absolute ethanol (analytically pure, Chengdu Jinshan Chemical Reagent Co. , Ftd. ) , absolute ether ( analytically pure, Chengdu Jinshan Chemical Reagent Co. , Ftd. ).
