• With Vc, chlorogenic acid and citric acid as positive controls, the antioxidant activity of the ethanol extracts of diferent parts of Obazema was determined. The antioxidant activity of the flower-fruit ethanol extracts of B. sessilicara Levl. and B. albiflora (Hook. ) Reichb. is stronger than that of the commonly used antioxidants such as Vc, chlorogenic acid and citric acid, which is related to antioxidant components in the ethanol extracts. In this study, the total coumarin content and antioxidant activity of diferent sources and diferent parts of Obazema were compared in order to provide a research basis for evaluating the quality of diferent sources of Obazema , and ensuring the safety, efficacy, rational use and sustainable development of medicinal resources of Yi Medicine. 2Instruments and reagents 2.1 Instruments and equipment TU-1950 dual-beam UVvisible spectrophotometer ( Beijing Puxi General Instrument Co. , Ltd. ) , KQ-250DE digital ultrasonic cleaner ( Kunshan Ultrasonic Instrument Co. , Ltd. ) , DHG-9246A electric heating constant temperature ( blast) drying box ( Shanghai Jinghong Experimental Equipment Co. , Ltd. ) , METTLER AR240 electronic balance ( Mettler Toledo Measurement Instrument Shanghai Co. , Ltd. ) .
