Martin examines Paul's argument in 1 Corinthians 11:2-16 for the veiling of women in public worship. He claims that the problem with Paul's argument from nature for the veiling of women in public worship arises not from Paul's convoluted logic or flawed argumentation but from the philological confusion of modern interpreters who fail to understand the ancient physiological conception of hair and confuse a testicle with a head covering. Ancient philology and physiology demonstrate that both Paul and the Corinthians probably comprehended quite well this cogent argument from nature of the veiling of women.
