A qualitative-empirical study on religion featuring elderly persons of 75?years and more, presented here, shows a high degree of ability to articulate the religious dimensions of their lives. The evidence even suggests that interest in religious questions and finding a meaning to their lives increases as they get older. It would also appear that religious sentiment becomes more individualised and more distant from traditional expressions of Christian belief amongst these older generations.
