The critical edition of Augustine's sermons on the psalms (Enarrationes in psalmos) for the CSEL has been accompanied by a series of papers on textual problems, which is destined not only to disburden the preface and critical apparatus of the edition, but also to shed light on the specific oral logic and language of Augustine's improvised sermons and the ensuing relative frequency of archetypal errors. In this latest instalment, several conjectures are proposed. The nine examples discussed are taken from en. ps. 61 – 64 and 67.
