Fault transient analysis is the research basis for full time domain based protection, which is required by the future power system with high proportion of inverter interfaced generator (IIG) access. This paper proposes a solvable analysis method for fault transient at system level. By dynamic phase conversion of IIG output and modification on system equation for transient analysis, the relationship between transient currents and nodal voltages can keep linear. As a result, fault transient of the whole multi-IIG system can be deduced without high order calculation. The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified in the multi-IIG simulation system.
