Beschreibungen/Notizen
Identification of a vignette from the Book of the Dead on one of the blocks that were reused to build the tomb of Sheshonq III in Tanis. This block, originally belonging to the tomb of 'nḫ.f-n-Jmnw, demonstrates that the vignette of the enthronement of Osiris on the ṯnṯȝt dates back as early as the time of Psusennes. This vignette is part of the new repertoire that during the Third Intermediate Period enlarged the Book of the Dead and as far as tombs go, was previously only known in those of Osorkon II and Sheshonq D, making this the oldest representation of its kind and demonstrating its importance.
