This article, written by the current Director of the Terman Study at Stanford University, provides a chronicle of the past, present, and future of Lewis Terman's historic longitudinal study of giftedness, "Genetic Studies of Genius, "and a compilation of information pertaining to the project. The early history of the major work done by Terman and his associates is described, as well as the contributions accomplished by his successors, the Sears's, who have made the project's cumulative data available in several locations to qualified researchers. The maintenance of the Terman Archive is discussed, including studies in progress and planned future research utilizing the project's databank.
