The French Neutron Society (Société Fran¸aise de la Neutronique or SFN) held its annual meeting, Journées de la Diffusion Neutronique (JDNll), from May 26-31, 2002. About 120 participants came to Giens in a beautiful setting occupying the end of the cape. The efficient organization of the meeting was ensured by Christophe Muller and Jean-Louis Baudour, from the Laboratoire Matériaux et Microélectronique de Provence. This 11th journées was organized with the financial support of the CNRS (permanent formation and SPM and SC departments), the Laboratoire LCon Brillouin, and the Région Provence-Alpes-Côte d' Azur.
