Picasso is a name that connects even with the physician who is oblivious to the arts. Born on the Spanish coast in 1881, the early years of Picasso were under the tutelage of a father who supported his own livelihood through art. The paintings of his father were cast in the traditional style that had matured in Europe over the centuries. Nurtured in such a milieu, Picasso as a child gained a propensity for the visual arts. The presented work, entitled "Science and Charity," was created during 1897 using the elements of oil and canvas. Here, Gandhi talks about the interpretation of Picasso's painting.
