- J-elementary factors are one of the cornerstones of V.P. Potapov's approach to matricial versions of classical interpolation problems. Extending work of V.K. Dubovoj, we derive various one-to-one correspondences between Potapov-normalized full-rank J-elementary factors and finite nondegenerate Schur sequences.
