• The paper presents the interpretation of selected lyrics by Red Hot Chili Peppers, with its thesis being that the band strongly continued the tradition of the counter-cultural revolution of the 1960s. As the manifestation of sexual liberation, this rock band is a great example of the voice of artists of the revolution, misfits, signing and playing music against boredom and resignation. The topicality of counter-culture of 1968 in Red Hot Chili Pepper's music is a significant phenomenon in rock tradition, still making an impact. The leader of RHCP is still working, and new projects of the band confirm his artistic excellence.
