  • Goal of the artide - to justify importance of psychological characteristics of students-teacher relationship while the process of schooling. Target characteristics - interactions, behavior style and expectations, that students and teachers hold for each other. By adapting and interpreting concepts of transformational and implicit leadership theories in the context of low-achieving student teaching, obtained data show critical importance of teacher behavior style to the quality of schooling. Introduced research method can be used as a practical tool in pursuance of low achieving student's attitudes toward activities during the lessons with respect to the dignity of both students and teachers. The data obtained verify theoretical assumptions and gives meaningful insights into the process of schooling Inspirational motivation is the most acceptable way of teacher's behavior. It encompasses both teacher's self-assurance and placing reliance into students learning potential. It is power to show meaning in everyday learning process. Individual consideration is alto very importam in teacher - student interactions. It is displayed by accurate assessment of learning potential and results shown. Teacher's strive to transfer responsibility to the student by denying duty to control situation during the class is ranked as an act of slight. Such behavior is disinclined by the low achieving students.
