Dr. Thomas s. Weinberg is professor of sociology at SUNY Buffalo State, where he has taught since 1969. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in sociology from Rutgers University and a doctorate in sociology , with a specialty in a postdoctoral scholar on a National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism at the University of California, San Diego.
