This chapter focuses on analyzing the therapy process and drawings created by a child from the moderate‐functioning group. A 5‐year‐old Malaysian Chinese boy, Aaron, underwent therapy with a psychologist who observed and gauged the autistic children's behavior and progress. The therapist noticed that Aaron had poor eye contact and would look past a person during a conversation. As autistic children have limited or delayed language and speech, the therapist mainly used drawing in the therapy. A computer‐based multimedia cognitive aid in the form of multimedia presentation was specially developed as a tool to understand the thought patterns of an autistic child so that therapy could be given to manage the child's behavior and remove rigid thinking and behavior. Furth's three principles in analyzing drawings: noting child's initial impressions, looking for elements or characteristics, and synthesizing the observations, were applied in the analyses of the drawing and descriptions of the child.
