- Intra-atrial reentrant tachycardia （IART） is not uncommon after surgical correction of congenital heart disease （CHD）. The patients with IART are often refractory to antiarrhymic agents and present with severe symptoms. Current treatment approach to IART has shifted largely to interventional procedures which have a good short-term success rate, however, late recurrence rate is still high.
