Beschreibungen/Notizen
  • Health Literacy and digital Health Literacy of citizens is a crucial topic in regarding equal access to health care. The empowerment of people ensures independent and self-reliable citizens who actively take part in health management. The use of eHealth services is one important tool in enabling people to develop the resources they need. In this respect it is crucial to put the needs, skills, cognitive capacities and personal use contexts of the end users in the focus of the consideration of eHealth services. Tailoring the services is one way to ensure sustainable use. As a result, the demand for smart and detailed measurement tools of eHealth Literacy is high, although the development is still in its infancy. Thus, beside the challenge of measuring and assessing the eHealth Literacy of people, the users’ perspective is the most relevant angle in discussing eHealth services.
