• Companies are currently developing in a changing environment, which has led to more complex and uncertain environments and greater difficulty in their ability to make decisions. Among the most important decisions taken in the business management process is the approval, evaluation and execution of investments, since these generally involve high capital disbursements and even the participation of debt. The Molecular Immunology Center (CIM using its acronym in Spanish), a Cuban company belonging to the BIOCUBAFARMA group, is not exempt from this situation. INIM is the area in charge of Research and Development within the CIM and currently has a slow development of products from the patent until its commercial phase. This research aims to address the evaluation of an investment in the INIM from the optimum of fuzzy mathematics, due to the characteristics of the assets (intangible) and / or the sources of income in general that this entity presents, pretending that the technique addressed is applied to other investments and other areas of business decision making.
