  • Frequency distortion and network noise, which may be defined as white Gaussian noise, predominate in wireless Electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring systems. Because they need fewer calculations and consume less power, adaptive filters based on the Least Mean Square(LMS) filter approach are indeed the preferred option for white stochastic noise reduction. The LMS technique is straightforward to use in real - world systems, but it must be modified to decrease MSE for greater filter efficiency. In this paper pipelined delaying erroneous normalization LMS adaptive filter is used in ECG signal to eliminate Gaussian noise. The pipelined VLSI technology increases the adaptive filter’s operating performance by minimizing the crucial path with delay components. The pipelined technique in DENLMS method performance is compared to the DNLMS and ENLMS methods. The pipelined technique in DENLMS filter improves performance and decreases power usage at the expense of more space due to the inclusion of latches. FPGA Vertex 5 XC5LVX30 the target chip was a FPGA, which was used to evaluate the logic use, speed and energy consumption.
