• A family of kinematic schemes of shaft gearboxes is considered, which allows obtaining a large number of operating modes and implementing the principle of a tractor's two-line transmission. A distinctive feature of the schemes is the presence of parallel cargo (output) shafts. The article provides examples of kinematic diagrams of an automatic gearbox (automatic transmission) for a tractor of 6-8 traction class and the main relationships that determine the features of the kinematics, power and power balance of the automatic transmission.
