- Highlights • Meckeĺs diverticulum is the most common congenital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract, occurring in approximately 1-4% of the population; been the duplication of it exceedingly rare. • This is the first case of a simultaneous strangulated Littrés hernia with duplication of a Meckeĺs diverticulum.
