• The authors propose a synthetic scheme of perinatal anatomo-pathological diagnosis which, on the one hand, contains conventional concepts of wide interpretation of basic disease in mono-, bi- and multicausal genesis of the disease and death and, on the other hand, the order of placing clinical data about mother's diseases, complications of pregnancy and delivery, information about external causes of the child's (fetus's) death and placenta pathology. Nosological characteristics of "Single states arising in perinatal period" (class XVI, POO-P96 rubrics) are presented and 10 principles of their uniform explanation in documentation of perinatal anatomo-pathological diagnosis are formulated.
