- To improve the diagnosis and treatment level of aggressive fungal maxillary sinusitis. 16 cases were diagnosed with CT. Caldwell-Luc's surgery was done in 13 cases and Lima surgery in 3 cases. None of them were treated by antifungal agents. It showed osteolytic damage with bony defect which was different from expanded bony defect caused by benign tumor, but similar to malignant tumor. No recurrence occurred as followed from 6 months to 2 years. Computed tomography is very important in its diagnosis. Early explorative operation is useful in making definite diagnosis.
