• The introduction of the Shenzhen facility will increase Mainetti's overall production capacity in Asia by 25% from current operating levels, and as a result, will enable the company to meet rising demand from retailers in the U.S., U.K. and Continental Europe. The increase in production capacity will also enable Mainetti to better service customers' garment sourcing programs in Southeast Asia, India, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The facility will house more than 150 new production lines developed by Mainetti's research and development division, Mainetti Tecnologie. The technology will consist of advanced robotics, automation and molding equipment that will enable Mainetti to greatly enhance customer service and design capabilities. Founded in 1961 and based in Northern Italy, the Mainetti Group is one of the most influential resources for retailers across the globe for the development of customized, apparel-hanging solutions. [Andy Rupp], a 25 year veteran of the retail industry, will oversee all operations for the company's business in the U.S., Central America and South America, and will manage relations with [Mainetti]'s U.S. based clients, such as Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Nike, Brooks Brothers, Old Navy, Gap, and Federated Department Stores, among others.
