• Westbridge Capital Corp. (AMEX: WBC) today reported that net income for the year ended December 31, 1993 rose to $3,531,000, equal to $.78 per share, compared to 1992 net income of $1,762,000, or $.40 per share (excluding a nonrecurring gain of $1,134,000, or $.26 per share, from the adoption of FAS 109). Total revenues in 1993 rose 20% to $75,292,000 versus $62,634,000, in the prior year. Results for the respective 1993 periods include the acquisition of two closed blocks of Medicare Supplement insurance business: that of American Integrity Insurance Company in September 1992 and of Life and Health Insurance Company of America in March 1993.
