Mark J. Chastang, of Washington D.C. has become the second African-American to head a New Jersey hospital. He has been named president and Chief Executive Officer of East Orange General Hospital as well as Essex Valley Healthcare, Essex Valley Medical Transportation Services and the East Orange General Hospital Foundation. He will also become Vice Chairman of the Hospital's affiliates; The Visiting Nurse Association of Essex Valley and Care At Home. The announcement was made by George M.
