• WALTHAM, Mass., March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Thermos Electron Corporation (NYSE: TMO) today reported that net income for the year ended January 3, 1998, increased 25 percent to $239.3 million, or $1.57 per share, from $190.8 million, or $1.35 per share, last year. Revenues increased 21 percent to $3.6 billion in 1997 from $2.9 billion in 1996.
