• Athens Corp. and Air Products and Chemicals Inc., Allentown, Pa., have announced the signing of a five-year, exclusive sales and marketing agreement covering the United States and Western Europe. The pact is an extension of an earlier agreement announced in late 1988 which gave Air Products rights to market the Athens wafer cleaning systems exclusively in North America using an on-site approach. The new agreement encompasses all of Athens' current chemical management systems used for point-of-use semiconductor wafer cleaning, and expands the arrangement to include Western Europe. (excerpt)
