A listing of fall 2007 book releases is presented. More common this season are books responding to or refuting atheism, and one genre undergoing a revival in the midst of all of this is Christian apologetics, or arguments in defense of that faith. There also are plenty of efforts to rehabilitate the image of Jesus, to rescue him from either the right or the left. Of course, there is no stanching the flow of books on politics and religion, both new critiques and reprints of backlist titles.
