The most recent transaction value for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for the media, information, marketing services, and technology sectors reached $23 billion in the first half of 2011, according to The Jordan, Edmiston Gmup Inc's (JEGI) report titled "JEGI 1H 2011 M&A Overview." Meanwhile, JEGI sees plenty of growth potential for digital advertising dollars. For the near future, JEGI's analysts expect middle-market M&A to continue to be active through the second half of 2011 and into 2012.
