• During the last decades several Buddhist traditions and communities have been settling in Spain, one of them has broken beyond the religious or spiritual sphere. The aim of this article is to understand how the Open Project of the Buddhist Monks Sakya Tashi Ling is organized. It is a Community with two Monasteries and retreat houses following the Vajrayana Sakya and Ngagpa traditions. They represent an occidental and particular way of practising Buddhism from, in, and for society. We study this Community from a social network perspective in order to assess the impact of relations upon its organizational form as well as its open project. Adapted from the source document.
