- ABSTRACT In this article, we seek to outline some of the key impulses, both substantive and methodological, in cultural anthropology in 2010 as represented in the four main peer‐reviewed journals: American Anthropologist, American Ethnologist, Cultural Anthropology, and Current Anthropology. We identify four main themes of particular significance in terms of theoretical intervention and methodological innovation: Gilles Deleuze, indigeneity, natureculture (multispecies ethnography), and security.
