• The Jordan, Edmiston Group (JEGI) provided an in-depth look at the information industry's latest track record in the "JEGI Media and Information Year-End 2010 M&A Overview." The JEGI report focused on M&A activity for the media, information, marketing services, and technology sectors, and not surprisingly, the facts and figures showed some positive news. There were 845 transactions with a total value of $43.3 billion, reflecting a bigger and more robust landscape than in recent years. One of the biggest movers and shakers was mobile. But not all sectors did as well, including traditional media and newspapers.
