• BUCKS.—At the late Assizes, Mary Hughes was found guilty of manslaughter, in killing and slaving William Meats, at the parish of Evon, and sentenced to one years imprisonment. The circumstances were us follow:—The ad, in whose death Mary Hughes was implicated, was a son of Mr. Meats, one of the King's Messengers. Being very deficient in inte ect, he was placed under the care of this woaman, a relation, with a weekly salary of thirteen shi lings.
