- During the screening for bioactive metabolites of microbial origin, we have reported a new 9-hydroxycrisamicin A, which was produced by Micromonospora sp. SA246. Further study of the strain led to a discovery of another isochromanquinone group compound, 1-hydroxycrisamicin A. This paper describes the isolation, physico-chemical properties, structural elucidation, and biological activity of 1.
