• Developments in gastrointestinal endoscopy technology are occurring at an exponential rate. Driven by a better understanding of nature, better tools for imaging, measuring, sensing, modeling, and analyzing, as well as more sophisticated researchers and research techniques, developments that used to take decades occur in a fraction of the time. This is as true in medicine as it is in other areas of science; it is especially true in gastrointestinal endoscopy.
